Sow come into season every 15-17 days.
They carry their babies for 63 to 73 days.
The average litter is between 1 and 6 babies but they have been know to have more.
Young guineas are known as pups.
The babies must be weaned between the age of 3-4 weeks as they can become sexually active by this age.
